Celebration of Life for Leon “Squeak” Harlson will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2022 at American Legion Post #42. Leon William Harlson 51, of Gillette, WY passed away February 11, 2022 peacefully at home from cancer. Leon was born on December 10, 1970 to Georgia Whitehouse and Leon Charles Harlson in Hillsboro, OR. Leon lived in Billings, MT most of his life; but traveled all around working until he settled in Gillette, WY. Leon owned several businesses in Gillette and also worked in the oilfield. He was a lover of animals. He enjoyed working on anything mechanical, restoring classic cars, spending time with his friends and family; always having a good story to tell. Leon was always willing to help others, he had a big heart and was willing to give anyone a chance. He will be missed by his wife, Jacqueline Harlson; children, Randal Cornett of Sioux Fall, SD; Leon Harlson Jr. of Billings, MT who wanted his dad to know he is thankful for the relationship he had with his dad, he never held anything against him and he idolized his dad in every aspect, he was one of his best friends; Ashley Hughes of Oklahoma; Taylor Harlson of Billings, MT; stepchildren, Paul Martin, Kolby Petersen and Ayden Kniffen all of Gillette, WY; four grandchildren, father, Leon Charles Harlson and stepmother, Helen Harlson, sisters, Dusty Whitehouse and Jessica McKay of Billings, MT;  along with numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Whitehouse and son, Russell James Harlson.
