They were married in 1952 in Miles City, Montana.  After living in Montana and Colorado, in 1968 Glen and Janette moved back to Glen’s home in Gillette, Wyoming.  After being a bookkeeper for many years, Janette retired from the City of Gillette and started traveling with Glen to Arizona in the winter months to spend time with friends and family.  Janette was very active in Eastern Star Gentian Chapter No. 23, where she held many offices.  She belonged to the Republican Women and worked on the election board for many years.  She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies in Arizona and a member of the First United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed fishing and boating with her husband, playing cards with friends, and visiting gardens and churches while traveling.  Janette loved going to the horse races in Montana and Wyoming, when they owned racehorses.  Janette enjoyed many crafts like, stained glass and crocheting.  She loved her family and never missed sending a handmade birthday card and always made an early morning call to be the first to sing them happy birthday.  Janette made all her grandchildren feel special by making them a homemade/decorated birthday cake.  Janette was an avid reader who worked on her family’s genealogy for many years.   She attended as many of the grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities as possible.  She was a 14-year survivor of ovarian cancer.
