January 10, 1932 — November 4, 2025

Rosalie Abbie (Snow) Richard, age 93, passed from her earthly life and entered her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 4, 2025. She was born January 10, 1932 on the family homestead south of Almena, Kansas to Wilber Grant Snow and Nina Grace (Johnson) Snow. Her family left Kansas in the 1930s during the depression and worked their way west to Grants Pass, Oregon. Later they moved to Santa Cruz, California where she met and married the love of her life, Ray Richard, on November 12, 1950. Rosalie graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1951. She learned to swim in the Rogue River in Oregon and loved swimming in the Ocean in California. Rosalie was raised to love Jesus and fully committed her life to Christ as a young adult and was baptized in the Free Methodist Church. Loving God was of utmost importance to her and she faithfully served Him. She was a prayer warrior for her family; praying for all of them daily. Rosalie enjoyed books from a young age and spent many hours reading, especially when traveling. She also loved baking cookies; her children and grandchildren always looked forward to fresh baked cookies when visiting. At the age of 47 she graduated with a Practical Nursing diploma from Walker State Technical College in Sumiton, Alabama and worked as an LPN until her retirement at the age of 75. Rosalie leaves behind her daughters: Connie Thompson of Hardin, Montana, Kathy Fields of Boonville, Missouri, and Carol (Lee) Sanders of Meridian, Idaho; son, Daniel (Naomi) Richard of Casper, Wyoming; grandchildren: Les (Kat) Lytle of West Palm Beach, Florida, Angie (Larry) Sallee of Hardin, Montana, Missy (J R) Short of Bozeman, Montana, Jenee (Josh) Munro of Rolla, North Dakota, Tony Trollope of North Carolina, Lance (Michelle) Trollope of Texas, Stephanie (Zack) Kanning of Plentywood, Montana, Clayton Thompson of Billings, Montana, Beth (Brian) Hendricks of Boonville, Missouri, Matt (Hannah) Fields of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Steve (Mae) Fields of Eureka, Montana, Corrie (John) Tieman of Dayton, Ohio, Jared Sanders of Meridian, Idaho, Chad (Ashley) Richard of Moorcroft, Wyoming, Alyssa (Ben) Atnip of Cody, Wyoming, Heather (Will) Anderson of Casper, Wyoming; great-grandchildren: Morgan and Logan Lytle, J.D.
