Richard Alan Novak

Richard Alan Novak, 77, of Gillette, Wyoming, passed away suddenly at his home on March 3, 2026. Born on February 13, 1949, in Wendte, South Dakota, to Frank and Velma (Keats) Novak. Richard spent his early years in South Dakota before moving to Gillette in 1978 with his beloved wife, Shirley. Richard is survived by his wife of many years, Shirley; his son, John; and his siblings, Marie, Steven, and Donald. He also leaves behind a large circle of extended family members and friends who will miss his presence dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Velma, and his siblings: Rudy (Hank), Robert, Bill, Mary, Sandy, Linda, Betty, and Beverly. Memorial Service to honor Richard’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 26, 2026, at the First Assembly of God in Gillette.
