Raymond Deon Brian

Aug 17, 1966 — Oct 1, 2026

Gillette, Wyoming

Raymond Deon Brian went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the early morning hours of October 1, 2026.

Raymond was born August 17, 1966, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Arthur Edward and Elizabeth Jean Ingalsbe Brian. He was the youngest of six children. He later moved with his family to Price, Utah, where he graduated from high school.

In 1984, at the age of 18, Raymond moved to Gillette, Wyoming, where he would make his home and build a life filled with family, friendships, faith, and hard work.

Raymond began his career with Johnson Drilling as a roughneck and, through his dedication and strong work ethic, advanced to become a driller and supervisor. He also worked in the oilfield and as a truck driver for Homax. Raymond was a very reliable employee who took pride in his work and could always be counted on to do his job well.

On January 1, 2007, Raymond married Nataliya Andrukhova. Their marriage brought another important and treasured chapter to Raymond's life, and the years they shared together were filled with love and companionship.

Outside of work, Raymond loved to travel, hike, bike, and camp. He enjoyed being outdoors and experiencing new places. He also had a passion for racing cars and trucks, which brought him great excitement and enjoyment.

Raymond's faith in Jesus Christ was at the heart of his life. He was never hesitant to share his faith with others and to witness to them about the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ. His faith was reflected not only in his words, but also in the way he lived his life.

Raymond was a caring, kind, patient, and gentle man. He had a genuine concern for others and was always willing to help, even when it came to animals. At work, he would bring food for the feral cats, who seemed to know exactly when Raymond was there. They would come meowing to him, knowing that he would not forget them. This was just one of the many simple ways Raymond showed his caring heart. Those who knew him will remember his gentle spirit, his kindness, his dependability, and the warmth he extended to those around him.

Raymond is survived by the love of his life, Nataliya Brian; his sisters, Juanita Brian Kevelighan and Bonnie Brian Vea; his niece, Ruby Morgan; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Elizabeth Jean Brian; his brothers, Robert E. Brian, Kenneth R. Brian, and David J. Brian; his grandparents, Albert and Rosalie Thorn Ingalsbe Tanner, Frances Ingalsbe, Amanda C. McCarell Brian Parker, and Charlotte Middleton Coats Corliss; his brother-in-law, Floyd Colwell; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family extends a special and heartfelt thank you to Pastor Regan Pickrel and the Gillette Foursquare Church, formerly Gillette Christian Center; Rev. Nelson Aloo and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church; Hospice; and the many family members and friends who have offered their love, prayers, help, and support. Your kindness and care have meant more than words can express.

Raymond's family takes comfort in knowing that he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
