Paul William Morrison

Paul W. Morrison 69 passed away on 10/09/2025 after battling a long illness.

Paul was born 5/26/1956 in Trenton, Missouri to Homer and Doris Morrison. As a child his parents moved back and forth between Missouri, California and Nebraska. In 1973 they moved to Stuart, Nebraska where Paul met the love of his life Tammy King. They were married in 1977 and were married for 48 years until his death. Paul and Tammy had two sons, Michael and Craig who he loved with all his heart. In 1980 they moved to Rozet, Wyoming where they lived until his death.

Paul was considered a jack of all trades and there wasn’t much he couldn’t figure out or do. He was a great heavy equipment operator and once had a boss who told him he could pick a person teeth with his skills. He worked for Dick Madar for most of his career. After Madar’s death he went to work for Three Rivers until they went out of business. He then went to work for Blakeman propane until he retired in 2022.

Paul loved to do many things. He had a passion for darts and spent many hours in front of a dart board practicing. He became one of the best throwers around winning many tournaments and trophies. Paul’s biggest passion was spending time in the mountains. Paul and his family spent many summers in the mountains camping,hiking and fishing. They made a point of going to a different spot just to see something new. They preferred to spend most of their vacations in different mountains. Paul liked to hunt and he and his wife became hunting partners. They had a special place in the mountains where they liked to hunt and hunted there for many years. Last year he finally bagged his trophy elk.

In 1998 Paul became a grandparent to his pride and joy, Mackenzie Morrison(Jones). Paul and Mackenzie had a special bond like no other and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her. Mackenzie would always say to him (Grampy how much do you love me?) and then ask him for a favor. It always made him smile.

Anyone who knew Paul would know what a great person he was. He was always there to help out when someone needed him. He was greatly loved and will be severely missed by all.

Paul is survived by his wife Tammy, son Michael (Lisa)Morrison, son Craig (Kimberly) Morrison granddaughter MacKenzie (Lars) Jones, his brother Ray(Christine) Morrison 6 step grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sister Doris, and brother Jerry.
