Nicholas Adam Rogers, 45, living in Wyoming, passed into eternal peace by the saving grace of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 26, 2026. He was born on April 28, 1980, in Belleville, IL.

Nicholas was an Army veteran. From 2010 - 2011, he served as a gunner during Operation Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn. Because of his selfless service, he received awards and medals.

Nicholas had a wide range of interests. Reading and studying the Bible, encyclopedias, camping in all types of weather, fishing, hunting, raising rabbits, and riding his Harley that brought peace and solace. His father shared his love for carpentry with Nicholas, and he became a carpenter by trade. He worked alongside his father to build the family home and many homes. He built a wigwam when he was a teen, and at the age of 16, he began and finished the restoration of a 1968 Chevelle.

He is survived by his three children, Adam, Alyson, and Aidan, with their mother, Elizabeth; his mother, Margaret Rogers; his sisters Krista (Colin) Morley and Samantha (Tim) Schrader, nieces and nephews, his Papa Ted Mezo, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a few good friends. He deeply loved his children and all of his family, who will tremendously miss him.

He was preceded in death by his dear father, Rodney, his Mama Ann Mezo, Grandmother Carol Rogers, Granddaddy George Rogers, Sr., Uncle Joey Mezo, Aunt Sharon Rogers, Uncle Tim Rogers, Aunt Dee - Diane Rogers, and cousin Karen Rogers.

A private family service will be held on Monday, February 16th, with military honors in Gillette, WY. There will be a celebration of life to honor him in IL, at a later date. Memorials may be given to his children, Adam, Alyson, and Aidan.
