Michael Todd Dickinson, affectionately known as Todd, passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 58. He was born on August 20, 1967, in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Jessie Worley and Jerry Dickinson. Todd spent much of his life in Gillette, Wyoming, where he built a reputation as a hardworking businessman, devoted father, and respected member of the community. Todd dedicated much of his career to the oilfield industry and was also a successful landlord. He possessed an entrepreneurial spirit and a remarkable ability to build, create, and solve problems. Whether he was welding, woodworking, creating epoxy projects, managing businesses, skiing, or enjoying music, Todd approached everything he did with passion and determination. One of Todd’s greatest contributions to his community was serving as President of the local BMX track for 11 years, where he devoted countless hours to supporting young riders and helping grow the sport. His leadership, generosity, and commitment left a lasting impact on many families.
Above all, Todd cherished his family. He is survived by his longtime friend and former spouse, Tami E. Dickinson; his children, James Sandefur, Zac Dickinson, and Jade Warner, along with his son-in-law, Dylan Warner. As a proud grandfather to Liam Hayzlett and Waverly Dickinson, he eagerly anticipated the arrival of his grandson, Beckett Warner, who will carry on a piece of his legacy. He is also survived by his close aunt and uncle Jim and Alberta Bowden; his sister, Debbie Riggle; his brother, Jerry Dickinson Jr.; and many extended family members, dear friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
Todd will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous heart, love of learning, and willingness to help others. His legacy lives on through the family he loved, the friendships he built, and the community he helped strengthen. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.
A celebration of Todd’s life will be held at a later date. Service details will be announced by the family. "The family is deeply grateful for the love and support of this community. If you wish to help with funeral costs, donations made via https://cap.passare.com/s/dvNzzuke2qHR9vuQiupteA will be applied directly to the funeral home contract."
