Michael Eugene Hardman passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, in Newcastle, Wyoming after an extended medical illness. Michael Eugene Hardman was born on June 27, 1950, to Richard Sr. and Faith Sisson Hardman in Indiana. He graduated from Manual High School in Indianapolis. Michael was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Hardman Jr. and Shirland Hardman. Michael moved to the state of Wyoming as a young man to pursue his dreams. He was employed by BNSFe for 32 years on maintenance crew. Michael enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, and hunting in the Big Horn mountains and Rocky Mountains in western Wyoming. He also enjoyed Fall Hunting and camping with his friends, family, and coworkers. Michael married Darlene Fehr-Fetters on October 13, 2007, in Gillette, Wyoming.
Michael is survived by his wife Darlene, his daughter Nancy Hatton, in Jacksonville, Florida. He is also survived by stepdaughters, Vanessa Nuzum of Gillette, Wyoming, Heather Lisenbee of San Antonio, Texas, Melissa Thompson of Utah, Deanna Brown of Goodfield, Illinois, and Victoria Soto of Santa Rosa, California. He is also survived by grandson Zack Hatton, and granddaughter Zoey Hatton, great grandson Zeke Hatton. Michael is also survived by other step grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Michael is survived by three sisters in Indiana, Gloria Prentice, Elizabeth Wilde, and Esther Grocox. Michael grew up in the Pentecostal church in Indianapolis. Michael attended the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Gillette, Wyoming. Memorials and condolences may be sent in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel, 210 W 5th St., Gillette, WY 82716.
