Michael Dodd Bishop

Memorial service for Mike Bishop will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Walker Funeral Home with Kenna Lou Rose officiating. Michael “Mike” Dodd Bishop, 51, of Gillette, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at his home in Gillette. Michael was born October 27, 1967 in Boulder, Colorado, to Roger and Jeannette (Dodd) Bishop. Michael graduated from Campbell County High School in 1986 and Black Hills State University in 1996. He married Brenda Neugebauer Bishop on June 8, 1996. They later divorced. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following all college and professional sports. He is survived by his mother, Jeannette, Story, WY; brother, Curt (Donna) Bishop, Longmont, CO; good friend, Michael “Mike” Stevens, Gillette, WY; sisters-in-law, Lisa Cramer and Tess Hansen; brother-in-law, Nate Neugebauer; nieces and nephews, Emily, Drew and Danny Bishop; Addie Christensen and Jordan Brown. He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Beth and Alva Dodd, Sr., Niwot, CO; and Frances and Oren Bishop, Boulder, CO.
