Leroy Dean Boese

LeRoy “Dean” Boese, 87 passed away March 12, 2024 in Gillette, WY. Dean was born March 11, 1937 in Bozeman, MT, the son of Alfred and Audrey (Boub) Boese.  Dean was one of six children. He attended school in Glendive, MT. On December 31, 1958, Dean married the love of his life, Lila Boese. Dean worked for Haliburton and they moved multiple times for his job.  In 1960 their first daughter, Tammie, was born.  Terra was born in 1965. In 1970 they moved to Gillette, WY and in 1977 he started B&S Testers. Dean enjoyed hunting and fishing, raising their daughters, and spending time with their grandkids and great-grandkids. Dean is survived by daughters Tammie Paxton and Terra White; grandchildren Chrystal Knigge, Zakary White, and Jakob White; great-grandchildren Quinton Johnson and Devereaux Johnson; Brother Bob (Rita), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila; dad and mom, Alfred and Audrey; step-mom, Lena; sister Ellen; brothers Kenny Miles, Jerry, and Loren; and multiple aunts and uncles. A celebration of life will be held May 17, 2024 at 1:00pm at Mt Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette, WY, in conjunction with Lila’s celebration of life.
