Laura Marie Blake

Laura Marie Blake, 47, passed away in her sleep in the early morning of May 7th, 2024 in Gillette, Wyoming. She was born on Sept. 17, 1976 in Buffalo, Wyoming to Mark and Deborah Blake. Laura spent her childhood in Campbell County and attended CC schools. She grew up in the country surrounded by her parents, siblings and many types of animals, her favorite were cats, always had them by her side, they were her best friends. She worked as a CNA for a short time. Laura met Darren Manous while she was in high school and married in 1993. In 1994 they welcomed their son, Cody Manous. She was a devoted mother and loved her son very much, sharing a bond in playing video games together. Darren and Laura were later divorced. Laura is perceived in death by her maternal grandfather John H (Jack) Collins, and her paternal grandparents Delbert A Blake and Ruth Blake, numerous aunts and uncles who were very much loved but so many we can’t name them all. Laura was very much loved by her family and friends, and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her siblings, Bonnie La Pointe (Kevin), Shawn Blake (Victoria), and Delbert Blake; parents, Mark and Deborah Blake; maternal grandmother, Carol Hart (Don); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, too many to mention, but loved by all.
