Joseph (Tony) Anthony Mullins

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., June 4, 2026, at the Wright Community Center 201 Wright Blvd., Wright, WY.

Tony Ballard Mullins, age 72 of Wright, WY, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, surrounded by his family. Tony was born on August 4, 1953, in Gillette, WY to Johnny and Pauline Ballard. When Pauline got remarried to a gentleman by the name of Tom Mullins, Tom adopted Tony and his siblings. Tony was known for his great sense of humor and always being there for his family and friends. Tony loved fishing, the outdoors, working with his hands and caring for his property in Wright. He was very talented and creative. When Tony saw something artistic in a store that he liked, instead of buying it he would usually say “I can make that!” and he always did, making it his own and better than what he had originally seen. On August 23, 1975, Tony married his high school sweetheart, Joey Jacobs, and together they shared 51 years of marriage and built a life centered around each other, friends, and family. Tony is survived by his wife, Joey Mullins; siblings, Mike Ballard (Lexi), Paula Waldrop (Johnnie), David Mullins (Juanita), Sammy Mullins (Bev), Peggy Isenberger (Lee), and JoLynne Mullins (Brett); and many nieces, nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews that Tony loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Christian. Tony will be missed deeply as he touched many lives during his time here and leaves behind a lasting impact on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.
