John Richard Nulle

John Richard Nulle, a beloved husband, father, and decorated Marine, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, at the age of 76. John was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on April 4, 1949 to Robert Walter Nulle and Kathryn Anna Gilpin. His childhood was spent in Powell, Wyoming then moved to Gillette in 1968. John was a proud and dedicated Marine, serving in the United States Marine Corps from September 1969 to June 1975 as an RF-4 Phantom Aerial Reconnaissance Photographer, a Marine Drill Instructor and an Aerial Reconnaissance Instructor. After his service, he worked as a Coal Miner, firefighter, and EMT, always committed to service and safety in his community. He is survived by his wife Jeanne Nulle; children Kathryn, and her husband, Lynn Hibbs; Krystin, and her husband, Robert McKinney; and his son Robert Nulle; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; his brother James, and his wife, Cathy Nulle; his nephew Thomas Nulle, and several found family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Kathryn Nulle. The memorial will be held at the American Legion, December 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm. All friends and family are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your preferred veteran’s organization in his name. A Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and mentor to many.
