Jacob Daniel Harding

Sep 9, 1991 — Jul 27, 2026

Gillette, Wyoming

Jacob Daniel Harding, beloved son, brother, and devoted father, passed away unexpectedly on July 27,

2026, near Wright, Wyoming, at the age of 34. Jacob was born on September 9, 1991, in Medford, Oregon. In 1997, Jacob’s mother moved with him to Salem, Oregon where he lived until moving to Wyoming in 2011. From his very first breath, he brought love, laughter, frustration and an adventurous spirit into the lives of all who knew him.

Jacob’s early years in Salem were shaped by the embrace of a close-knit family and a community that would witness a young boy’s curiosity grow into a drive for discovery. His willingness to help others, paired with a gentle heart, became traits that would define him throughout his life.

Jacob's journey took him across states and new seasons of life, but his commitment to family always remained at the core of who he was. As a son to Raymond and Julie Harding, Jacob emanated respect, kindness, and love to close friends and family. Through triumphs and challenges, he was a steadfast friend, always ready with gestures of encouragement or caring words.

He took the utmost pride in his role as a father to Dakota Lee Harding and Weston Ray Harding. Jacob’s eyes would light up at the mention of his children. He cherished their every achievement, big or small, and strove to teach them the values he held dear: compassion, honesty, and resilience. The legacy he leaves behind is one of unwavering love and hope.

In every chapter of his life, Jacob fostered deep bonds not only within his family but in friendships forged through mutual respect, laughter, and shared experience. Jacob recently became a member of the Gillette New Life Church fostering his children’s foundation in God. Those fortunate enough to have known him will remember his sincerity and the sense of belonging he cultivated in any circumstance. Jacob was employed with Robertson’ Concrete and other jobs in Oregon prior to working for Gilliam Construction in Wyoming, he was proud of his job and accomplishments.

Jacob’s passing leaves a profound absence in the lives of those who survive him. His father, Raymond

Harding; his mother, Julie Harding; his sons, Dakota Lee Harding and Weston Ray Harding; his sister, Heather Harding; his brothers Ben Harding, Chris Harding, Marcus Brammell; and many other family members and friends, will forever carry forward his love and his memory. He was preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents.
