Guida "Tina" Valentina Mattis

Memorial service for Tina Mattis will be held 12:00 p.m., Monday, October 14, 2019 at Wright Baptist Church, Wright, WY. There will be a family service in her hometown and the details for that will be provided at a later date. Tina Mattis passed away Monday, October 7, 2019 at Close to Home Hospice, Gillette, WY of cancer. Guida “Tina” Mattis was born on December 31, 1953 in Gallup, NM to Bobbie Jean (Brown) and Joe Zecca. Tina touched so many hearts, in so many ways. She had a gift for making everyone feel respected and loved. She loved unconditionally and she lit up the room with her smile and that ‘look’ she shared with those closest to her. Tina had a gift for making everyone feel that they were the most important person in the room. She had a presence to be reckoned with and she will be missed. Tina is survived by her father, Joe Zecca of Gallup, NM; her loving husband, John Mattis of Wright, WY; son, Joseph Mattis of Boxelder, SD; daughter, Tanya Mattis of Gillette, WY; along with four grandchildren and one great-grandson all of South Dakota.
