Grace C. Lowry

Grace (Schatz) Lowry, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, hours before the love of her life, Roger Lowry, also passed. Grace was born February 23, 1944, in Lovell, Wyoming, to Chris and Lois Schatz.

Grace married the most wonderful man, Roger, on August 5, 1978, and their family became complete raising one another’s children as their own.

Grace lived most of her life in Lovell, but in recent years she and Roger moved to be closer to medical care. Grace loved the outdoors, traveling, and cooking. She collected souvenirs from many places she would visit and proudly displayed them on the wall for others to see her adventures.

She is survived by her brothers: Smokey (Linda) Schatz and Gene Schatz; son, David (Twyla) Jackson; step-daughters, Colleen (Dan) Mesa, and Christine (Ed) Fourman; five grandchildren, Daniel (Lauren Pate) Jackson, Jacob (Hannah Deardorff) Fourman, Alec Mesa, Justine (CJ) Murphey, and Sarah Mesa; and one great-granddaughter, Annabelle Pate Jackson, sister-in-law Judy Schatz, many nephews and nieces.

Grace is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Art Schatz. Condolences may be sent in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West 5^th Street, Gillette, WY 82716.
