Glorianna Hansen

March 31, 1929 — May 31, 2025

Gillette, Wyoming

Glorianna, an extraordinary woman whose spirit reflected warmth and adventure, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital. Glorianna was born on March 31, 1929 to Max and Anna Germaine Needham. Born in Traverse City, Michigan, she lived a life rich in love, family, and the joy of exploration.

A proud graduate of Battle Creek Central, Class of 1947, Glorianna carried an indomitable spirit throughout her life's journey. On July 18, 1949, she united in marriage with Eldon A. Hansen, embarking on a partnership that blossomed into a legacy filled with cherished memories and lessons of devotion.

Her life was adorned with the joys of family, as she leaves behind her beloved children: Eldon A. Hansen Jr. (Theresa), John H. Hansen (Linda), Dann E. Hansen (Terry), and Anna Germaine Whisler (Joseph). Glorianna's nurturing embrace extended to her twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carried a piece of her heart in their own lives.

Glorianna's passions were underscored by her love of travel; she embraced the wonders of the world around her, often returning with stories that sparked joy and curiosity in those gathered around her. Her journey through life was filled with rich experiences that she shared generously with her family and friends.

In her passing, she joins her late husband, Eldon Hansen, who predeceased her on July 9, 2009, as well as her son-in-law, Douglas Myers, and siblings William and Nancee, who, although no longer with us in body, remain forever in the hearts of those she loved.

Services in her honor will be held at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, a fitting tribute to a woman whose life was marked by faith, community, and a love for all things beautiful. Glorianna Hansen will be remembered not just for her enduring spirit and love for adventure but also for the profound impact she had on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
