Elsie Greer-Sicks, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully left this world on September 25, 2025, at Campbell County Health, surrounded by her family. Born on May 5, 1936, to Aaron M. and Dorothy H. (Pacot) Spielman in Gillette, WY.
Elsie married the love of her life, Jack Greer, on July 25, 1953, in Gillette, WY. Together, they made their home in Johnson County, where they ranched, including at the Bar C Ranch in Barnum. Elsie and Jack shared a passion for rodeos, hunting, and horse racing throughout the western United States. In 1970 the couple moved to Campbell County and operated the Arrowhead Motel along with continuing ranching.
After Jack’s passing, Elsie married Allan Sicks in 1993. Their union brought new joys, as she joined Allan supporting his photography business. Following his death, Elsie remained a devoted hostess, opening her home to family and friends. She continued to work in her cherished yard, finding joy in nature and remaining actively engaged in life. She never missed a horse race or a yard sale.
Elsie graduated from Campbell County High School. Known for her exceptional decorating skills, she had a knack for crafting. Her dedication to her passions reflected not only in her home but also in the way she entertained guests, often filling the air with her piano melodies.
Travel was another of Elsie’s great loves, as she embarked on various excursions that allowed her to explore the world while making memories. Her home was always alive with laughter, the sounds of family gatherings echoing through her yard, a testament to the community she cultivated with grace and love.
Elsie is survived by her children, Judy (Allen) Brink, Jackie (Mike) Jackson, Randy Greer, and Penny Greer, 2 brothers, Don and Ron Spielman, and one sister, Nancy Warner, as well as her cherished 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters, who will keep their memories of her warmth and kindness.
