Dorothy was born in New Lepsig, ND September 26, 1938, to Margaret and Joseph Tibor. She was the 4th of fourteen children. She was a talented singer and musician and performed in the family band with her brothers, earning her family a spot in the North Dakota Hall of Fame. She also taught at a country school for two years. She married the love of her life, Michael Francis Hauck, on June 10, 1958, and the two just celebrated 64 years of marriage. Together they had five children. Tammy (Jim) Eadus, Joe (Wendy) Hauck, Debbie (Rikk) Flohr, Julie (Ryan) Gutknecht and Mary (Mark) Fogle. She often stated the happiest moments of her life were the years of being a mother to her five little ones. Dorothy was a Grandma to 19 grandchildren and Great-Grandma to many and still counting great-grandchildren. So from the love of two came many. Dorothy was a loving sister and aunt to many. Our Mother was our greatest example of what a loving wife, mother, and grandma should be. Dorothy loved art and she herself was an artist. Dorothy painted scenery and multiple paintings that hang in her house today for family and friends to enjoy. She showered us with special gifts of family gatherings, handmade items, and special handmade cards made with so much love for us to treasure. Her talents were endless. She taught us what love of family and faith should look like and we are forever blessed by her gift of those lessons. Dorothy will be greeted in heaven by her baby that she will finally get to hold, her daughter Julie, son-in-law Ryan, her 6 brothers, a sister, and her beloved parents. You can rest in peace momma knowing you did a beautiful job of loving us. Love you forever until we meet again. Memorials and condolences may be sent in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West 5th Street, Gillette, WY 82716. Condolences may also be expressed at www.gillettememorialchapel.com
