Dillon Lee Michelena

Dillon Lee Michelena, a loving son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on May 12, 2023 in Casper, Wyoming. Dillon's presence will be missed dearly by his surviving family members - daughters Reygan and Ashlynn, parents Joyce (Fred) Neff and John Michelena, brother Jason Michelena, sister Lorelei Jelle, stepbrothers, Ernie (Amy) Neff, Fredrick (Robin) Neff along with many nieces and nephews, long-time girlfriend Trista and his friends.

Born in Gillette, Wyoming on June 3, 1986 to John Michelena and Joyce Neff. Dillon attended school in Campbell County. After graduating high school Dillon worked hard with his hands and was an expert in construction jobs. He worked at Buckskin Mine for short period of time.

Outside of work Dillon spent much of his free time riding his motorcycle with friends down the scenic roads of Wyoming, and  listening to MGK side by side with those who loved the same music.

Despite having only lived for 36 years, Dillon's spirit touched the hearts of so many people around him. Those who knew him have nothing but good things to say about this kind-hearted person who always went out of his way to help others and spread kindness among them.

Dillon was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Dolores Michelena; grandfather Bernard James Jr., and sister-in-law Becky Michelena. The rest of the family will treasure their memories with him forever.

Overall, Dillon lived a remarkable life that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him. His infectious laugh brightened up the room while he had a charming personality that won everyone over. We are grateful we had the pleasure to cross paths with him during our lifetime. Rest In Peace Dillon.

As a final act of giving, Dillon was able to be an organ donor.

A gathering/Celebration of Life will be Friday, May 19, 2023 from 12 pm-3 pm at Walker Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Memorials and condolences may be sent in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West 5th Street, Gillette, WY 82716.
