David Hudson Dunne

David Hudson Dunne was born September 7, 1958, in Inglewood, California, to Calvin H. Dunne and Wyoma H. Dunne. He passed away on April 5, 2026, in Gillette, Wyoming.

David graduated from Sheridan High School in 1976 and began his career with the Wyoming Highway Department before attending diesel mechanic school and joining the United States Navy. Following his discharge, he continued serving his country in the Wyoming Army National Guard.

David returned to Gillette, where he worked as a mechanic for several companies, including Osbourne Trucking, Woods Trucking, Komatsu, and Sulzer, before retiring.

In his free time, David enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, fishing, riding his Harley, gardening, and cooking. He especially loved his dogs, Chablis and Chauncey, who were cherished companions.

David was preceded in death by his father, Calvin H. Dunne, and his brother, Robert Dunne. He is survived by his mother, Wyoma H. Dunne; his sister, Cindy Edwards; his niece, Laura Mills; and his grandniece and grandnephew.

David will be remembered for his years of service, his love of the outdoors, and the many interests that brought him joy throughout his life.
