Daryl Alan Johnson, 54 December 30, 1970 – August 3, 2025
Daryl Alan Johnson was born on December 30, 1970, in Gillette, Wyoming, to Clair and Carol Johnson. The youngest of seven children, Daryl was raised in Gillette and graduated from Campbell County High School.
Daryl was a man whose wealth was found not in possessions, but in his deep love for family and friends. He never cared for flashy things or keeping up appearances—his heart was what made him truly rich. He was the one who always showed up. Whether it was moving furniture, helping with yard work, celebrating a birthday, or simply being present, Daryl was there. Always willing, always kind, always dependable.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—camping, fishing, and spending time outdoors with those he loved. He was the kind of man who would try something first, just to make sure it was safe for everyone else. Selfless and sincere, he was truly one of a kind.
Daryl is survived by his siblings: Rick (Coty) Johnson, Rhonda (Art) Reich, Tony (Brandy) Johnson, Mike (Rita) Johnson, Cheryl (Jeff) Rott, and Rodney Johnson; his stepfather Earl Ingraham; and a host of nieces and nephews who deeply adored him.
He was preceded in death by his mother Carol Johnson, father Clair Johnson, stepmother Norma Johnson, and his beloved niece Latoya Dionne.
Daryl will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and generous spirit. He will be missed more than words can express and never forgotten by those whose lives he touched.
