Carla Jane Morgan

Memorial service for Carla Morgan, 62, of Gillette, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2022 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Erik Berquist officiating.  Carla Jane Morgan died on January 17, 2022 in Gillette.  Mrs. Morgan was born in Litchfield, Illinois.  She was raised and educated in Illinois.  Upon the completion of her schooling she moved to Germany and later moved to El Paso, Texas.  She married Daryl Morgan on July 16, 1982 in La Porte, Texas.  The couple made their home and started their family in Pasadena, Texas.  Carla was a devoted wife and mother and this was reflected by her decision to stay home to raise her children and make caring for her family and Daryl her priority.  Carla enjoyed crocheting blankets that she gave as gifts to her friends.  Carla will be remembered most by her selfless demeanor.  In every situation she considered others first.  Her ability to love and care for others left this world a better place because she lived.  Carla will be solely missed by her husband Daryl; sons, Eric Morgan and Bryan Morgan, all of Gillette.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Daryl Morgan’s name to help make special donations to the charities Carla loved.  Memorials and condolences may be sent in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West 5th Street, Gillette, WY 82716.
