Funeral service for Bobby Gonzalez will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2018 at Journey Church with Pastor Erin Youngs officiating; interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Bobby Gonzalez was born March 3, 1956 to Conrado Gonzalez and Maria La De Rosa. He passed away October 9, 2018 after a faithful battle with cancer. Bobby was a friend to everyone he met. He blessed the lives of those he came in contact with. He loved making people laugh and was always a genuine friend. He married his first wife, Sandra Oetjen in the winter of 1979. Together they had two children, Sabrina and Shawn of DeMoine, Iowa. He was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. He married Jeanne Bryant on August 1, 2009. They loved to travel and visit their children and grandchildren together. They loved being together and dedicated the last 9 years of his life serving each other. He loved his Jeanne. He was an extremely hard worker throughout his life. He proudly served in the Army.  He studied at Walnut Ridge College in Arkansas. He was an Auto mechanic, fire and water smoke damage specialist, furnace technician, and worked in food service management. He worked for CCH before his passing. He was a professional painter for over 30 years. He loved God and gave credit to him for all his blessings and accomplishments. He studied the word of God throughout his life and shared it with everyone he came in contact with. He was a Minister, Evangelist and Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. He loved preaching and sharing his testimony of Jesus Christ. Bobby is survived by his wife, Jeanne; daughter, Sabrina Gonzalez; son, Shawn Zeller (Glen); step-children, Matty (Karina) Bryant; Heidi Bryant; Jenn (Chance) Clark; grandchildren, Taylek; Keatyn; Story; Calon; Emberlee; and Piper;  siblings, Johnny; Richard; Conrad; Benny; Jessie; Tony; Gilbert; Lupe; Angie; Linda; and Prophelia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Conrado Gonzalez and Maria La De Rosa; siblings, Rachel and Janie; and first wife, Sandra Oetjen.  The family request that memorials be made in Bobby’s name to Home Health of Campbell County.
