She built a lasting, loving and happy life with her beloved husband, Bernard Johnson, together shaping a warm and welcoming home. In their union, Bernard and Betty shared a loving and happy 62 years of marriage. Betty was a dedicated mother to her daughter Teresa Berg and son Gary Johnson, whose lives have been profoundly enriched by her guidance and unconditional support.

Family remained the cornerstone of Betty’s world. She is lovingly remembered by her brother, John Sharp, as well as her sisters, Sharon Stanford and Vickie Jones. Her nurturing spirit extended across generations, blessing her grandchildren—Brittiney Steinmey, Tyler Johnson, Caitlynn Nelson, and Rebeca Johnson—with fond memories and enduring lessons. Betty’s legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Tristin Steinmeyer, Kaiden Steinmeyer, Gunner Johnson, and Archer Johnson, who brought her immense pride and joy.

Betty’s journey was also marked by the loss of dear family members who preceded her in death: her sisters Ruth Rhoades and Francis Miller; her brother Clarance Sharp; and her parents, Arthur and Mary Sharp.
