Celebration of Life for Barb Sieveke will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 26, 2018 at Journey Church with Pastor Erin Youngs officiating. Barbara Jean Sieveke age 70 and a longtime resident of Campbell County, passed away at The Legacy after a long battle with Alzheimers. Barbara Jean (Polhamus) Sieveke was born on May 17, 1948 in Wurzberg, Germany to Karola and George Polhamus.  Barb proudly served in the United States Air Force, where she met and married Robert Sieveke. They had two children; Aaron and Jennifer. Barb worked for Workforce Services as a Veterans Representative for 19 years, where she helped many veterans obtain jobs and receive benefits. Being a veteran and helping other veterans was her passion. She was very active in the community and gave her time for many charities and community service organizations. Barb is survived by her children, Aaron Sieveke of Olympia, WA and Jennifer Thomas of Gillette, WY; along with grandkids, Christopher Oedekoven and Cadynce Oedekoven of Gillette, WY. She is preceded in death by her parents. The family request that memorials be made in Barb’s name to benefit The Wounded Warrior Project.
