Alice Viola Hagen

Funeral service for Alice Hagen will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ernie Bishop officiating. Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Alice Hagen passed away August 22, 2018 at Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 82. Alice Viola (Saeman) Hagen, the oldest of 4 children, was born on March 2, 1936 near Dodge, ND to Fred and Ida (Bohrer) Saeman. Alice married Jerry Hagen on May 12, 1956. The family made Gillette WY home in 1970 where Alice was a hard-working dedicated homemaker. She was a wonderful cook and baker. No one who visited ever left hungry. She enjoyed singing and playing the guitar, which she taught herself at a young age, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Anyone who knew her and entered her home was treated like family. She will be missed by her children, Terry (Diane) Hagen; Duane (Debbie) Hagen; Peggy Hagen; and Cathi (Billy) Grisack; her grandchildren, Tiffany; Thomas; Meagan; Michelle; Ben; Vince; Shane; Angie; Michael; and Wil; 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; her brother, Delvin (Paula) Saeman; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry; her daughter, Diane Murphy; granddaughter, Taelor Grisack; her sisters, Darlene Kummer and Janice West and her parents.
