Memorial services for Elsie Morse of Sundance, Wyoming will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the Osage Community Bible Church with Pastor Tommy Miller officiating. Interment and graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, April 18, 2005 at the Oregon Trail Cemetery in Casper, Wyoming with Pastor Tommy Miller officiating and the Natrona County United Veteran?s Council providing full Military Honors. Stevenson Funeral Home of Gillette, Wyoming is entrusted with the arrangements. Elsie Morse, age 83, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.Elsie Rosella Morse was born on August 25, 1921 in Muskegon, Michigan the daughter of Rose Bryant. She was raised and educated in Muskegon as well. Elsie enlisted in the Women?s Army Air Corps on May 28, 1943. While serving in the military she married Levi Morse on December 7, 1943 in Muskegon. Elsie was honorably discharged on June 6, 1945, this is when the couple began their family and made their home together in Muskegon. In 1950 Levi died and she was left to raise their two sons alone. She worked at Standard Automotive for many years to support herself and her boys. In her retirement she enjoyed traveling and visiting friends and family. In 1999 she moved to the Wyoming area to be near her son and his family. Elsie could be described as a solid Christian, who is rejoicing in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, a servant to the Lord and to others; she very much loved to help people out. Elsie will be greatly missed by her two sons: Francis (Barbara) Morse of Muskegon, David (Sue) Morse of Osage, Wyoming; sister, Ethel Hetzman of Pensacola, Florida; brother, Imre (Shirley) Bryant of Muskegon; 9grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and lots of friends. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband and parents Rose and Virgil Bryant.Condolences and memorials may be sent in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home 210 W.
