A graveside service for Katherine Peterson of Gillette, Wyoming will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2006 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Pastor Marty Crump of Family Life Church officiating.Katherine Julia Peterson, age 92, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.Katherine was born September 17, 1913 in Plattsmouth, Cass County, Nebraska to John and Nora Likewise, moving to Campbell County at the age of 4.She met Charlie W. Peterson and they were married August 26, 1938 living on the ranch on Timber Creek Road. Mr. Peterson died in June of 1977. Mrs. Peterson continued living on the ranch until 1983 when she moved to Birchwood Apartments. She was an excellent cook and was known for her great hospitality. Mrs. Peterson is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Ruff and husband, John, granddaughter, Katherine McCoy and husband, Ken, grandson, Chuck Hensley and wife, Niki, 2 great-grandsons: Rodney Rech and Derek Hensley all of Gillette, Wyoming; great-granddaugthers: Tammy Hess of Wright, Wyoming, Christy Brothers and Erin Hensley both of Gillette, Wyoming. She is also survived by 5 great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 granddaughter, 2 brothers: John Likewise and Henry Likewise and 3 sisters: Margaret Robb, Helen McCue and Dorothy Moore.
