Funeral services for Ida Clark of Gillette, Wyoming will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Gillette with Pastor Scott Firminhac officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home of Gillette is entrusted with the arrangements.Mrs. Clark, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette of natural causes.Ida Anita Clark was born on November 9, 1919 the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Wiebe) Reimer in Chinook, Montana. Around the age of 5, Ida moved with her family to Hulett, where she was raised and educated. Upon her graduation Ida attended normal training and taught school in rural schools in Campbell County. On September 2, 1940 Ida married Morris Clark in Sheridan, Wyoming. The couple made their home on a ranch southeast of Gillette. Ida was a mother first and delighted in caring for the girls and Morris. Her children, grandchildren and great grand children were the center of her life and this was reflected in her relationship with each of them.Ida served as a 4-H leader. She was an accomplished seamstress and gardener. She made many clothes for her children, grandchildren as well as some very special items for her great-grandchildren. Ida enjoyed traveling and took scenic bus tours to various United States attractions. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Gillette, and attended church services until hearing loss made it impossible.Ida is survived by her daughters: Jean Martinez of Newcastle, Wyoming and Alice and her husband Art Cundy of Gillette, Wyoming, granddaughter, Nicole and her husband Troy Allee of Gillette, Wyoming; Grandsons: Vance Cundy and Scott Cundy of Gillette, Travis Cundy and his wife Connie of Sheridan, great-grandchildren: Samantha Cundy, Jessica Cundy, Reance Cundy, Vanessa Cundy, Collin Cundy, Luke Cundy, Caleb Cundy, Alicia Allee and Zane Allee; step-great-grandson, Jacob Olsen; great-great granddaughter, Isabella Ogle, and her siblings: Stella Goertz of Riverton, Loyd Reimer of Newcastle, Zelma Pickerd of Torrington, Carl Reimer and his wife Martha of Gillette and Nina and her husband Gene Bannister of Gillette.She was preceded in death by her husband Morris, sister Anna Graeber, and brothers Hank and Alven Reimer.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Ida?s name to Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonandsons.com.
