James Lucky Johnson, 58, of Adrian, Missouri died of an apparent cardiac arrest on May 14, 2006, in Gillette, WY. Memorial services are pending in Adrian, MO.Jim was born in Maywood, CA to Pauline and Lucky Johnson on October 28, 1947. He lived much of his life in Southern California. In 2000 he and his wife Teri moved to Adrian, Missouri. He enjoyed the country life there, living in his parent?s old home watching the hummingbirds, wild turkeys and deer with her. Jim was an animal lover, a soft touch for strays that arrived on his doorstep. His dog, Hallie, was his special pal. Jim was an excellent cook and especially enjoyed barbecuing. He was an avid garage sale and auction buyer and became quite expert at selling his finds on E-bay. Above all, Jim was happiest when he was helping someone else.Jim was employed by Babcock and Wilcox. He and his wife were living in Gillette for the second time, having arrived 5 months prior to his death. He held a supervisory position with the company and was quite excited about this new venture and future opportunities with B&W.Jim is survived by his wife Teri, two daughters, Lori and Leslie, one son Richard, and his step-daughter Chrystal Mitchell. Jim was to walk Chrystal down the aisle for her August wedding. Also surviving are two sisters, Jeannette Emerson of Adrian, MO, and Jeanne Guerra and Morgan Hill, CA. Preceding him in death were his parents, Pauline and Lucky Johnson.
