Obituary Benjamin BuchholzGraveside Services with Military Honors for Benjamin Buchholz will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2006, 11:00 AM at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.Benjamin passed away at Pioneer Manor on May 14, 2006. He was born to Fred and Rose (Zahn) Buchholz on March 7, 1933 in Dodson, MT. He was one of twelve children. After graduating from high school in Dodson, Ben joined the Air Force. Over the next 23 years, Ben served his country as a Radioman in various postings in Germany, England, Japan and across the United States. After retiring in 1974 he worked in a glass factory in Denver, Colorado. In 1987, Ben came to Gillette. For the past number of years, Ben has been a resident of Pioneer Manor.Ben is survived by two daughters, Alice Baer and Pam Buchholz, both of Colorado, a niece Marie Engel of Missouri, three brothers Rubin (Ann), Donald, and Raymond (Marcie) all of Montana, one sister, Vina (Leo) Derbyshire of Washington. Ben is preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
