Funeral services for Michael will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 10:00 am at Stevenson Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3-7. Michael Dean Meyers age 19, of Gillette, WY succumbed to injuries received in a one vehicle accident on Saturday, July 1, 2006 on Highway 14 on the mountain above Sheridan WY. Michael Dean was born on February 5, 1987 to Dean and Theresa (Murer) Meyers in Gillette, Wyoming. He was raised and educated in Gillette, graduating from Campbell County High School in May 2005. Upon completing school, Michael pursued an interest in becoming an electrician in Gillette. During Michael Dean?s lifetime; he enjoyed video games, camping, fishing, four wheeling, pickups and spending time with family and friends. Michael Dean is survived by his parents, mother Theresa Meyers, of Houston, TX, father, and step mother Dean and Shelly Meyers, sister Tashina Meyers, stepsister Danielle Robinson and stepbrother Josh Robinson all of Gillette, WY, grandparents Joe and Vonnie Meyers of Sheridan, WY, Louis and Christa Paulsen of San Diego, CA , Doris and Randy Fenton of Valentine, NB, Julius Murer of Denver, CO, Keith and Connie Sanford of Gillette, WY and a great grandfather, Karl Jones of Ainsworth, NB. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial donations may be made to the Gillette Annual Charity Chili Cook Off or the Sheridan County Search and Rescue in Michael Dean?s name.
