Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Friday, August 11, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette, Wyoming. Burial will be at 3:00 pm, August 11, 2006 at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota. Russell Howard ?Reggie? Heifort, age 68, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2006 at Lake Sakakawea, after a long bout with heart disease.Reggie was born July 5th, 1938 in Stillwater, Minn. After joining the Navy, which sent him to Spain, he met and married the mother of his five children, Encarnacion ?Connie? Heifort.Reggie and Connie loved riding motorcycles. They raised their children in Minnesota (Forest Lake/Henning), North Dakota (Williston), and ultimately Wyoming (Gillette) where he worked for Getter trucking for many years. A passionate golfer, Reggie ran the Pine Haven Golf Club (Key Hole) for a brief time before moving to Montana (Billings) where he met his second wife Sharon. Reggie was a life-long avid fisherman and hunter and pursued those interests in his final years at Lake Sakakawea.He is survived by his 1st wife - Connie, 2nd wife - Sharon, 3 boys ? Russell, Micheal, and Bennie, 2 daughters ? Connie and Julie, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his mother ? Alice, 4 brothers ? George, Gary, Steve, and Joseph, and 3 sisters ?
