Mass of Christian Burial for Cecilia ?Sue? Laughlin, 63, of Gillette, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 21, at St. Matthew?s Catholic Church, with Father Cliff Jacobson officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home. A vigil-prayer service will follow at 7:00 p.m.Sue passed away Saturday, September 16, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital from a dissiecting aneurysm. Cecilia Elisabeth Suchor was born October 14, 1942, in Towner, North Dakota. She was the daughter of George and Johanna (Feist) Suchor.After graduating from high school Sue moved to Minot, North Dakota, where she worked as a waitress and cook. It was there she met and later married Chuck Laughlin on April 18, 1964. The Laughlin?s started their family in Minot. Sue was devoted to her children and enjoyed staying home with them. The family moved to Bismarck, North Dakota in 1973 and to Gillette in 1978. Sue owned and operated The Little Giant Caf with her brother Leo from 1979 to 1999. In 2000 she opened Cec?s Collectibles with her daughter Sherri.Sue was a longtime member of St. Matthew?s Catholic Church. She enjoyed flower gardening and has a beautiful backyard that showcased her talent. She loved to travel with her husband, most recently in Myrtle Beach and a very memorable trip to Hawaii with her entire family, to attend her son Bill?s wedding. She was looking forward to many more trips with Chuck. Other favorite pastimes were playing cards with her brothers and sisters, and ?going east? to Deadwood.Her care and love for her entire family was evident to many. She had a wonderful way of welcoming everyone around her.She is survived by her husband of 42 years; son Sheldon Laughlin, son and daughter-in-law Bill and Robyn Laughlin, and daughter Sherri Laughlin, all of Gillette; five grandchildren, Jade, Sheree, Aaliyah, Tristen and Carisa; six brothers, Ray Suchor of Crawford, Nebraska; Leo Suchor of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Bill, Larry, Joe and Bobby Suchor, all of Gillette; five sisters, Kay Larson of California; Helen Robinson of Sheridan; Wyoming; Evelyn Skow, Jenny Love, and Alice Paxton, all of Gillette, and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son Shane Michael Laughlin, in 2001.Memorials and condolences may be sent in her name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
