Funeral services for Anthony McLaurie will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Jervis of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.Mr. McLaurie, age 35, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at his home in Gillette of a heart attack.Anthony Richard, known to his family and friends as Tony, was born January 15, 1971 in Bemidji, Minnesota the son of Dick and Lynette (Widmark) McLaurie. Tony lived in Bemidji until the age of 9 when he moved with his mom and step-father, Richard Haberstroh to Gillette, Wyoming. Here he attended Hillcrest Elementary, Sage Valley Junior High and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1989. After graduation Tony married Sha Koski on September 30. The couple later divorced. Upon his graduation Tony began working at Gillette Radiator and did so until 2004. He then began working for Interstate Detroit Diesel where he was presently a crew leader. Tony enjoyed racing stock cars as well as building and working on them. Tony?s true love was rock and roll music and his electric guitar. He was a great self taught guitarist and spent many hours picking out song after song. Tony and his son, Timothy liked playing Play Station 2 particularly their favorite game Grand Theft Auto, San Andreas. Brittani enjoyed hanging out with her dad and will miss the very close relationship they had. Tony had a heart of gold. He took many people in under his wing and gave them everything he had to help them out. His smile and goofy sense of humor will be missed by all.Tony is survived by his daughter, Brittani McLaurie; son, Timothy McLaurie both of Gillette, Wyoming; son, Travis Wosslager-McLaurie of Montana; parents, Lynn Kile of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; step-father, Richard Haberstroh of Gillette, Wyoming; sister, Jessica Haberstroh of Gillette, Wyoming; special friend, Gene Koski of Gillette, Wyoming and many friends and co-workers.He is preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents.In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to benefit his children, an account has been set up at Campco Federal Credit Union.
