Ellie Lockhart

Eleanor "Ellie" Lockhart, age 80,a nearly 50 year resident of Laramie Wyoming died Thursday, December 14, 2006 at her daughter's home in Gillette, Wyoming of natural causes. At Eleanor's request no services are planned. Ellie was born on September 19, 1926 the daughter of Luke and Regina (Fross) Schreivogel in Kit Carson, Colorado. Ellie enjoyed working in her yard and especially her garden. Ellie loved gambling trips to wherever she could, especially Las Vegas, and Black Hawk, Colorado or just going down with a friend to the local American Legion to play the pull tabs. She enjoyed animals especially her dogs, Missy, Ginger and Schotsie who were constant companions. Ellie is survived by her daughter, Roxanne ?Roxie? Peterson of Gillette, Wyoming; her son, Rodney Nordin; granddaughter, Brandi Harvey both of Kansas City, Missouri; great granddaughters, Kamyrn Harvey and Peyton Harvey; and sisters: Irene Dunkell, of Illinois and Genivive McVey of Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald "Don" Lockhart. Memorials are suggested to benefit Treasured Memories Hospice.
