Funeral service for Melinda Glover will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 27, 2012 at First Assembly of God Church in Gillette, WY with Pastor Dan Holden officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Walker Funeral Home, Gillette, WY.
Melinda D. Glover, age 50 left our lives July 23rd, 2012 to spend eternity with our heavenly father. Melinda passed away peacefully at home from an extended illness.
Melinda Dawn (Berg) Glover was born March 30th, 1962. Melinda is the daughter of Walter A. and Viola Berg in Mitchell, South Dakota. Melinda attended school in Reliance, South Dakota graduating in 1980 from Presho, South Dakota. She continued her education pursuing a law degree at the University of Wyoming. Melinda married and moved to Gillette, Wyoming to start her family. Melinda had 4 daughters Desiree, Desa, Chantell, and Daysha. They later divorced and Melinda found her soul mate Lance Glover. Lance and Melinda married Nov. 13th, 1999. Melinda spent her remaining days loving him with everything she had. Lance and Melinda raised Five children together and seen them all graduate. Melinda's passion was collecting Wizard of OZ and I love Lucy memorabilia. Melinda also had a strong partaking to reading Novel Stories. Melinda loved spending quality time and holidays with family and friends and always looked forward to meeting new people. She enjoyed taking her yearly trip to Sturgis with Lance and their friends. Melinda cherished and loved her grandkids dearly and her pets almost as much.
Melinda is survived by her husband Lance Glover, daughters Desiree, Chantell, Daysha, (stepsons) Robert and Kyle Glover all of Gillette. Sisters Melaine Berg of Gillette and Lori Frye of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Brother Gerald Berg of Reliance, South Dakota. Several grandchildren Jayden Gompf, Talan Gompf, Braydon Moore, Cambria Moore, Elyanna Groves, and Kreeden Groves.
Melinda is preceded in her death by her parents Walter and Viola Berg. Two brothers, Maynard and Calvin Berg. One sister Diane Hrabe and one daughter Desa Kay Moore.
A memorial is being established in Melinda's name to help with the medical expenses of a local family who has a loved one suffering from the same type of lung disease.
