Darin Myhre, age 49, of Orchard, CO. passed away on June 15, 2012 at his second home in Wright, Wyoming. He will be laid to rest at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Gillette Memorial Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Darin William Myhre was born June 24, 1962, in Hettinger, North Dakota. He was the son of Gloria Dawn Myhre. He was raised and educated in Lemmon, S.D. and graduated from Lemmon High School in 1980. After graduation Darin enlisted in the military serving in the 101st Airborne, Army. After his honorable discharge, Darin worked for Caterpillar in California and Kelley Trucking in Colorado. He was united in marriage to Tracy Vasseur in 1994 in Brighton, Colorado. In 2009 he began work for Peabody Energy Company, where he was currently employed. Darin was a hard worker and in his spare time loved to work on engines or any type of mechanic work he could get his hands on. Darin enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, boating and loved spending time with his children.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children: Molly Dawn, Andrew James, Amanda Lea all of Brighton, Colorado; half-sister, Sandra Johannes of Sheldon, Iowa; 4 uncles and 2 nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria, grandfather and grandmother Eugene & Marcella Myhre.
